Every
year since 1989, photographer Sam Barnes has spent the beginning of
September working for the Toronto International Film Festival shooting
portraits of actors and directors from Canada and the rest of the
world.
"Every year it gets a little bigger and a little
more crazy. Everyone is pressed for time and access becomes a precious
commodity to be doled out in tiny little packets. Often I only have
a few minutes to get the shot."
"These are a few
of the images I got this year and a few random thoughts about the
whole process..."
